Tell me the truth.

You fellas are pretty knowledgable about computers so can some one answer me a question?
Isn't $300 a fair price for a pc, tower only, with 3 gb of RAM and 100 gb hard drive? It has an AMD Athlon 3000+ processor plus, it has a wicked looking case. Everytime I set up a buy ofr it they try to talk me down last minute. One guy actually asked if I would consider trading for his Netbook and I was like, dude, this is a gaming powerhouse. No.

I really wouldnt know about that Ram stuff so go by my motto!!! =D ''If it looks cool buy it no matter how expensive it is''

Most desktops are about $400-$500 (i think).

If this is still a popular tower then yea $300 sounds right. But if its not in catalogs, or youve used it, it should be dropped to like $200.(IMO)

That might have been a gaming powerhouse four years ago, but by now it is barely worth more than the case. :/

if what you said it has ( the whole 3 gb ram, 100 gb Hard Drive ) than it is pretty good, its probably worth more but it depends, try comparing it to other comps of its time, even if its only a couple of years old.

+ i don't actually know the exchange rate, but i think that about £200

The case is the most expensive part other than my video card, it was about $340, don't rightly know or care what it's called.
