Not on the new versions... Have you tried the new versions? My game USED to lag SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much but now in the new versions it's perfectly not laggy!

I DLed the most recent version about a week ago, same processing speed.

I play on byond even now ... I have free time you know ... It lags like s**t so nice job choosing the engine ...


And even that I play on byond I don't like the way the games are made . There's just nothing else I could play ...


So it comes to this :

The games on byond look like s**t and lag like s**t too. They are all full with bugs. For example a tile that you can't walk on is suddenly walked but your stopped by the next tile and the tile you just walked trough is suddenly can't be walked again. So I don't think that the game we wait so long deserves this.

Sora I hope you're not insulted. I don't know if I ever played your games but I would agree with whoever said that fast made games are with low quality. If you're insulted in some way I'm sorry.

I've never even been on BYOND! I can't really comment. But not being a coder myself, I would say I would be impressed with most of the games that are made using the programme. Especially, if proper thought had been put into it. As Oturan said though. The eclipse programme is very likely more professional than the BYOND coding system. he is taking this very seriously, and from what I have been told, programmes such as Eclipse and Mirage are two of the very best, even if challenging.

Ill agree, they're the best free ones.

Yea. Mirage is a good clean pretty much code for people to build a game with. Eclipse is made with mirage, so its even, but harder to customize.

Tell me about it, the thread just completely mutated into a BYOND rage fest, i think we need to stop even mentioning BYOND lol, it seems to be killing our topics.
